MaryAnne LoVerme of Wabisabi Brooklyn turns humble elements into stunning jewelry. Named both for MaryAnne’s native borough and for the Japanese aesthetic concept, “wabi-sabi,” which roughly translated means “beauty of imperfection,” the current collection combines vintage elements, recycled paper, coins and other ephemera in unexpected ways to create true statement pieces.
MaryAnne studied Spanish at Earlham College and Education at Bank Street.
