I am pleased as punch to add Eidolon to the distinguished list of Wabisabi Brooklyn stockists!

Located at 233 Fifth Avenue between Carroll and President in Park Slope, Eidolon – which means “image of perfection,” in Greek, (a nice counterpoint to “wabi-sabi,” beauty of imperfection) is a little boutique that is crammed with fantastic fashions from local designers.

I met with one of Eidolon’s owner’s, Amara, who is an amazingly multi-talented woman. Among other things, she makes custom bathing suits, which I think is just brilliant. For a little peek at her designs, go here.
